New 6 volt Starter Motor. Complete with New Modern Starter. The Modern Drive on both the 6 & 12 volt starters is Larger and Stronger than the original 8BA 48-53 Motors. It will be necessary to remove the starter plate and grind a small amount of the cast iron or steel intermediate housing.
So the drive will fit between the ring gear and the intermediate housing. We realize when working on classic vehicles, they may have been changed or modified. Wait for a corrected total BEFORE PAYING.
