1964-73 Mustang V8 Starter Motor Hi Torque 2.4hp. Suits 260 289 302 351 Windsors and 302 351 Clevelands. Will also suit 351 400 M Motors.

High Torque replacement starter motor for early Ford Windsors upto 1986 and all Clevelands. 2.4hp, integral solenoid, will require bypassing of remote solenoid. Great quality starter, much better than the original style Clapper. Uses much less power (will still crank over on a low battery, when a clapper needs a jump start) and spins much faster, for easier starting. Also avoids all the problems of the factory solenoid not working or welding the contacts.
